Here's a couple skin care products who have been AMAZING to me !
You may be familiar with Ambi from their fade cream, but recently they have extended their skin care line.
I was always looking for a daily lightweight moisturizer specifically for my face that didnt contain oil (because oil clogs the pores on the face) . & then, I stumbled across Ambi Even & Clear Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30.
1. Just like the name says, it will leave your face even and clear. With continued use of this moisturizer, you will notice that those stubborn left over dark marks from old zits fade away and your face is more even toned.
2. It is absolutely light weight enough to use on your face. A little bit of this product goes along way. If you wear foundation, this is safe to wear under it without leaving your face oily and/or greasy. Eww !
3. It contains SUNSCREEN ! As women of color, we often believe that we dont need sunscreen, but we actually do ! Without sunscreen, those dark marks on our faces actually become darker from the harmful sunrays. So in order to keep our skintone even, we must protect it.
Another new addition to the new Ambi skin care line that i am addicted to is the body lotion. Ambi Soft & Even Creamy Oil Lotion moisturizes as a oil, but in a lotion form.
It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized all day.
The description also claims that the lotion fades dark spots for a more even skin tone. The jury is still out that one though.
But of these products can be found at Wal Mart and Target.
